This is by far the easiest recipe for Guacamole that I have ever encountered! It is such a tasty snack, and a great appetizer to have out for a party or BBQ.
Guacamole is great with nacho chips, pita chips, crackers, in a wrap, on a sandwich, on a burger, and who knows what else!
Easy Guacamole
- 2 small or medium ripe avocados
- 1 to 2 tablespoons salsa
- lime juice
- salt and pepper
- Slice open your avocados and remove them from the shell. Save the pits for later if you are not serving the guacamole right away
- Mash the avocado halves with a fork
- Add the salsa and lime juice (to taste)
- Season with salt and pepper, and serve!
Note: If you are not serving the guacamole right away, you can put it in an airtight container with the pits, and this will help slow down the accumulation of that yucky brown colour that will eventually occur.
